In international organizations like the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI) and the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Piero used to run offices in Brussels, New York, and Rio de Janeiro, spearheading strategic partnerships with governments, private foundations, and civil society organizations, leading communication campaigns, navigating complex political environments. He also served as a cabinet chief in the European Parliament, dealing with legislative matters in public health, consumer protection, and more. Piero's education from reputable institutions, including the University of Turin, SIOI, IESE Business School, and Harvard University, further enhances his expertise in leadership and public policy. Additionally, he co-founded a not-for-profit organization in Brazil and worked on a social entrepreneurship program at the University of Denver, showcasing his commitment to social impact and innovation.
